Mr. Moritz brings over 20 years experience of successfully creating and managing all aspects of both sales and marketing for small to mid-size organizations. Most recently he was the Vice-President of Sales and Marketing at Cadence Network, where he drove 190% top line organic growth in less than three years and helped position the company for acquisition. Prior to Cadence he spent more than 11 years at Strategic Energy serving in several key management and consulting roles including Vice President of National Accounts and Vice President of Marketing. His achievements there include the development and management of the company’s first integrated Marketing department, which included Product Management, Marketing Communications, Channel Management and Market Research. As part of the Sales management team he achieved sales goals in every year of eligibility, with an outstanding record of consistent quarterly performance.
He brings a solid track record in selecting, managing and training professional and administrative staff; developing and managing multi-million dollar departmental budgets; establishing and monitoring productivity goals; and leading cross-functional teams on key projects. He has a strong reputation in the energy industry with deep contacts and established relationships throughout the customer, supplier and consultant community.
Awards/Accomplishments:
Mr. Moritz is a recognized expert in the energy industry, speaking regularly on Sustainability, Energy Deregulation and Energy Contracts. He has testified on behalf of end-use customers before both the North Carolina Public Utility Commission and the New York Public Service Commission.
